Introductory Pilates

When I first took a Pilates class, I just jumped into something much harder than I needed and went for it. Later on I stopped, hit the rewind button, and learned the basics. This Introductory Pilates series was created to introduce you to the most basic exercises in almost every mat class I teach. There are many variations of these classical exercises to help you build the strength toward the full variation, and any additional variations we may try in the future. If jumping into a regular class is too intimidating, or you have never experienced Pilates, this is a great starting point to learn what is right for your body! Each class builds on the last. If you would like a more accelerated pace, the Return to Life series is another great place to start.
